Psalm1.1-3 "¶ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
Thousands of people live on the rivers and tributaries in the Amazon region.
There is only one way to reach them, and that is by water. Since my father began evangelizing the Rio Negro, there has been a need for frequent visits and trips not only to the churches, but to God's people who do not live near a church. Our goal is to be an encouragment to them and to reach others through the Gospel message.

Rebecca was given a clean bill of health in the month of June after a one year treatment for leprosy. We praise the Lord for his goodness and that he allowed her to be cured from that dreaded disease. She came down with dengue fever in February of 2011 and we spent three and one half months in the USA to let her recuperate and be gone during the dengue epidemic that swept Manaus. She is recuperating and is back into the church work and public school. We thank all of those who prayed in her behalf.
